Who uses it
Anyone with documents bound for a Hague Apostille Convention country — Mexico, Brazil, Spain, Italy, France, India, China (now), South Korea, Philippines, and 100+ others. Required for international marriage, work visas, school enrollment abroad, dual citizenship, and inheritance abroad.
Tennessee-specific details
The Tennessee Secretary of State issues apostilles in person at 312 Rosa L. Parks Ave, 3rd Floor, Nashville, TN 37243, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 4:15 PM Central (must arrive by 2:00 PM for same-day service). The SOS fee is $2 per document. Documents must be either originally issued by a TN state/county agency OR notarized by a TN notary public.
How it works
- You bring or send us the document(s)
- If notarization is needed first, we handle it (most documents require this step)
- We bundle and hand-deliver to the TN Secretary of State on Rosa L. Parks Ave
- Same-day pickup when we arrive before 2:00 PM (otherwise next-day)
- We return the apostilled document to you in person or via tracked overnight
